  Notes for biography	* LRCP?? of Adelaide who married three times. * Edward migrated to South Australia with his family in 1850 when he was 3 years old. * He returned to the UK to study medicine in London and Edinburgh. (ref : Clive Challis) * First spouse : Susan ENEFER in June 1866 in London - Edward and Susan had 2 children (ref : Clive Challis) - the first child was Kate in 1869 and the second was George in 1872 and died as an infant. Susan died in that same year - maybe George's was a tragic birth which resulted in the death of mother and baby. * By 1874, Edward had returned to Australia with and little Kate. * Second spouse : Marion INMAN - Their children were Grace in 1875, Inman in 1876, Jimmy in 1877 and Marion jnr in 1879. Marion snr died in 1879 (Did Marion snr die giving birth to Marion jnr???) * Third spouse : Sarah HILL - their children were Florence in 1869 (or 1879???), Selina in 1881. * All these dates need to be checked : Did 4 things happen in 1879 - the birth of Marion jnr, the death of Marion snr, the commencement of the relationship with Sarah (before Marion died??) and the birth of Florence. Maybe there has been confusion about who as the mother for which child - maybe we have mixed up the mothers (Sarah Hill Vs Marion Inman)? * Edward became a lecturer in gynaecology and midwifery - this specialization might have been influenced by the death of his first 2 wives in childbirth.   [1]
