Notes for biography |
* The eldest son and eldest surviving child of Edward and Elizabeth, Henry was born in October 1805.
* Henry followed his father and was employed as a Shipwright at Chatham Dockyard where he started to work in October 1826 on a wage of £69 9s 4d.
* Henry married Susan Lee, the daughter of Thomas and Ann, on 3 August 1833 at Chalk.
* The date of Henry's death is uncertain, however it is likely that he died before 1881 as Susan is found living as a Widow with her brother, William and his daughter in Gillingham. William was a retired Royal Navy Quartermaster.
* Susan died of Old Age on 30 December 1883 at her home in Stopford Road, Gillingham. Her niece Mary Ann Lee, is shown on the death certificate as the informant. Administration of her estate valued at £843 was granted to her brother, William Lee
