* Henry was born in 1907.
* His middle name links him to his step-grandfather who was still alive when Henry was born. Henry was the first born of the next generation - Kitty's first grandchild - and Samuel's first step-grandchild and the first birth he could publicly associate himself with.
* He married Joan in 1934 when he was 27 years old.
* Henry and Joan had 3 children (Alleyne, Margaret & Henry) and then Joan died in 1942 after 8 years of marriage.
* 25 years after Joan died, Henry married Barbara when he was 60 years old in 1967.
* Henry and Barbara had a child, Lalla.
* Henry died after 4 years of marriage, at the age of 63 years in 1971. |
